PA Polytechnic is an affiliated college situated in Kodachadri Karnatka Mangalore, which is located in Nadupadav, Montepadav Post Kairangala, and it was established in the year 2006. This institution has educational stream affiliation from AICTE, the government of India and provides diploma courses in diversified fields of engineering. Located in a complex of 60 acres, totally admitting 851 students and 54 faculty members. The institute offers five regular diploma courses/programmes, each of three years duration, with focused engineering disciplines.

This learning institution aims at ensuring that the students get a favourable learning environment that is complemented by modern facilities. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls, thus making out-station students comfortable while on campus. Most of the hostel buildings have accommodations with large rooms, sufficiently spacious washrooms, dining halls, and recreation facilities. The hostels also have their mini-libraries, prayer halls, and security with cameras throughout the night. To support its academic programmes, PA Polytechnic Library is eleven thousand and five hundred square feet equipped with over thirty thousand volumes, general reference books, project reports, and bound volumes of journals all covering the various branches of engineering.

Specifically, the facility infrastructure of the PA Polytechnic has been well facilitated to support learning. This institute has well-stocked practical demonstration laboratories and computerized IT facilities with Wi-Fi-enabled campus facilities. Pre- and primary students for instance, enjoy sporting activities in the spacious playground that has the football and volleyball fields as well as the badminton courts. A functional gymnasium to help fitness freaks is present for use. Transport facilities are also arranged by the college, and it owns twenty buses that operate in the Mangalore, Surathkal, and Kasargod regions for the transportation and safety of day scholars.

A cafeteria provides food for students and employees and a shop for supplementary products, such as writing materials and photocopying. Its banking facilities are easily available from an extension of Vijaya Bank Counter and two ATMs from Vijaya Bank and Corporation Bank. The college also has a health centre with a first aid service that takes care of the initial medical requirements.

Five diploma courses are offered at the PA Polytechnic, all of which are for full-time study. The total approved intake of the courses offered by the institute is 420 divided between the different courses. Basically, the diploma programmes offered focus on major engineering disciplines to equip the students with adequate knowledge for their next course of action on the job market.
