As an affiliated college, Paavendhar Polytechnic College, Salem, was established in the year 2008 in the premise of Manivilundhan South Post, Salem District, Tamil Nadu. It is accredited by all India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offers a wide list of diploma courses. Camped on a 10.76 acres of land, the college offers, in total enrolment of 807 students and 60 faculty members. Seven diploma courses offered at Paavendhar Polytechnic College are as follows: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology Engineering and Automobile Engineering.
