The Pachora Taluka Co-operative Education Society established Shri Sheth Murlidharji Mansingka Arts Science and Commerce College, Pachora in the year 1970, and is a private college. SMBT college was set up in Pachora, Maharashtra and it is named after Symbiosis, is affiliated to NMU Jalgaon and has the NAAC accreditation. SSMM College is a multi disciplined college located in 13 acres, it provides 12 courses in five degrees in Arts, Science and Commerce streams. The college composed of 3,590 students mild faculties of 17, the students 61% are females and 39% are male students and offer undergraduate education. Based on the type of course, the specialization offered in SSMM College is Marathi, English, History, Psychology, Computer, and Botany. 

The college has brought various facilities to help improve the student experience. The library, which was set up in June 1970, has expanded considerably over the years: it comprise a large area of the building and brings together a number of books and journals, and two reading rooms for students and academic and administrative staff of the university. The science department which started in 1973, comprises of highly stocked six laboratories for Chemistry, Biology, and Physics for quality control, research, and development. Sports and Games plays a major concerns in SSMM College and this college follows this saying of Health is Wealth. It is the sports department’s responsibility to get the students especially the rural born students to participate in various games and activities with an aim of polishing raw talents. Furthermore, the college has a secure campus with full security of CCTV cameras across the compound. 

SSMM College has a rich course profile at UG, PG, and Doctorate levels comprising programs of different streams. It offers 12 courses such as, BA, B.Com, B.Sc, MA and Ph.D. courses The institution offer the following courses: Under graduate programs normally take about three years while post graduate programs takes two years. Ph.D. courses are awarded for six years. The college of has total student enrolment of 3,590 from all its programs. Though the college does not assign specific number on seats for individual courses, the college is able to host a large number of students with different courses. 

SSMM College has standardized its entry criteria and acceptances are majorly given based on performance. College enrollment policy is rather liberal; the college allows all qualified students to attend the college program of their choice. As much as the seat and type of examinations taken are not known, it is relevant, for the intending students, to continue monitoring the admission calendars of the college. SSMM College also provide scholarships and 821 out of 1,296 undergraduate students and 60 of 71 postgraduate students, received reimbursements in 2022 academic year. For car travelers there is richest Aurangabad Airport which is about 152 kilometers away from the college.
