Pacific Dental College and Research Center (PDCRC) which was set up in the year 2015 is one of the premier dental college located at Udaipur Rajasthan. This constituent college is recognised by the Dental Council of India ( DCI) and comprises programmes in dentistry in its vast campus of 32 acres. PDCRC has a faculty of 73 members and deliver quality education to the students who wants to be part of the dental professionals. The institute provides 8 programmes at 2 degree levels with focus on dentistry. The dental education has been receiving a positive response in PDCRC since it strives to align with the highest standards of academic excellence in training professionals to meet the oral health care needs of people.

PDCRC offers many facilities in order to create the appropriate conditions for learning for its students. The campus consists of individual hostels for boys as well as girls so that students find themselves at home; the hostels have competent wardens who maintain discipline, security and the privacy needed in hostels. The school has well stocked health centre with first aid facilities for attending to the medical needs of students. Reading hall is well stocked with an excellent range of collection of books and journals supported by Internet facilities. 

There is a gym for students who have the interest in experiencing a healthy lifestyle on the campus. The college also pays attention to co curricular activities; there are facilities available for different games including cricket, volleyball and basket ball etc installed in PDCRC. The college canteen provides clean and good food. In regard to the Information Technology facilities, it provides for current teaching techniques. Also, it provide transport facility for the day scholars as well as transport for those who are residing in the hostel.

PDCRC has 8 dental courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The largest component of the institute’s academic portfolio is the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course of 100 seats. For the postgraduate students, the college offers Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degrees in the following specialties: Orthodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Conservative Dentistry, Periodontics, Pedodontics and Oral Medicine. These full time courses are intended to train proficient dentist to meet the active demands in the dental profession.

The major criterion of admission to the PDCRC is based on the national entrance examination. For the BDS programme, the candidate needs to pass the NEET UG exam for their eligibility to admission. In Like manner for MDS programmes, the admissions are offered through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for MDS (NEET MDS). These tests justify that only the most deserving candidates make it through for admission to the institute’s competitive programmes. The college operates within set admission rules established by regulatory agencies; the academic year normally commences in consonance with the national dental education calendar.
