Pacific Institute of Business Studies (PIBS) was established in 1997 as a constituent college at Udaipur, Rajasthan. Situated in the Pacific Hills, the institute has a large campus of one hundred acres most suitable for learning processes. PIBS has multiple programmes for commerce, management and business at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. As the institute is dedicatedly delivering quality education in the field of business and it is an already a recognised name in the region.

PIBS takes pride of the highly equipped facilities supportive to the learning of our students. A large number of students come to PIBS from different towns, so the institution provides functionally furnished hostels for boys and girls. Every room in the hostel is equipped with double beds, study table, wardrobe and an attached bathroom and 24 hour hot water. The campus has a medical centre, a modern cafeteria offering clean and tasty food for different types of diets. For students who come from various parts of the city, PIBS offers 20 buses to transport them at the most affordable prices.

PIBS has a total of six courses provided for at different levels of study. These include three undergraduate programmes- B.Com, B.Com Hons, BBA, one post graduate programme– M.Com, and doctoral programme- Ph. D. Commerce. All of the courses are designed as full-time, which corresponds to the attempt of the institute to provide students with a rich and intensive training process. 

Concerning the admission part, PIBS has an elaborate process. The institute which boasts of having more than 250000 books, 1,400 national and international journal full text access and many other resources such as e-books and online journals. This about, provides a sheer array that fulfills academic requirements of both teaching and learning communities. The campus has provision of well-equipped practical laboratory, a spick-and-span gym, health club, and multi facility of games. The Training and Placement Cell of the institute represents several opportunities and the bureau says that there is a placement of two students on average. This sets the tone of the institute with regards to not only the provision of knowledge, but also preparation for entrance into the job market among the students.
