Pacific Institute of Engineering, Udaipur, known as PIEU, is  affiliated with the Rajasthan Technical University and was established in the year 2009. This fine academic institution is a part of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and has a number of undergraduate programmes in Engineering. Located in an area of Pacific Hills, Pratap Nagar Extension, Airport Road, Debari PIEU has been training technical talents for more than 15 years. It has four B.Tech programmes which are offered full time with 420 intake spread over departments of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

Pacific Institute of Engineering has several amenities intended to supporting learning and the growth of the students. It comprises a total extent of area and amenities’ provision including well-fashioned laboratories that provide for a variety engineering disciplines and focused research requirements for both academic and industrial applications. The library has been conceived and is recognised as a knowledge centre and spreads over a massive 1 lakh sq. ft area; it consist of over 1,00,000 volumes, 175 journals and a host of online databases that place a world of knowledge at the students’ disposition. The hostel facility of PIEU is also available for the boys and girls separately; this hostel has all necessary amenities and the separate common room for rest etc. The institute’s food court provides nutritious and satisfactory meals to all and more importantly a health conscious centre with multi-gym and aerobics equipments for its students and employees.

As of now, Pacific Institute of Engineering, Udaipur has four B.Tech programmes all of which are to be completed in four years of full-time studies. The Civil Engineering branch offers seats for 120 students, Mechanical Engineering branch and Electrical engineering branch also offer 120 seats each and in Computer Science and Engineering there are 60 seats available. These programmes are formulated for producing efficient and competent professionals in their line of specialisation with healthy mixture of theory and pragmatic solutions oriented towards successful careers in the engineering industries.

The admission process is merit based meaning that the above institute assess the candidates based on there performance. Prospective students must first get registered for the enrollment for those who basic qualification requirements to pursue education at the centre.
