Pailan Technical Campus, Kolkata, was established in the year 2012. This is a premier technical institution located in the vibrating city of Kolkata, West Bengal. Spread over 4.2 acres near IIM Joka, this co-educational institute has a conducive atmosphere for technical education. Being an affiliated college, Pailan Technical Campus has distinguished itself in the field of diploma education, offering three specialised programs beneficial for aspiring engineers. At present, with 226 students on its roll and a dedicated faculty of 22 members, the institute is still able to boast an outstanding student-teacher ratio, thereby guaranteeing its students attention to personalised quality learning.

The campus is furnished with a variety of modern amenities in order to enhance the learning milieu of its students. It consists of well-equipped Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering laboratories, where the students are put to practical training. The up-to-date IT infrastructure equipped with the latest in the line of PCs and powered by Intel, and a 30MBPS internet connectivity, keeps the students abreast of the running techno-advances. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled so that the students can seamlessly get connected for their academic pursuits. Pailan Technical Campus provides sports facilities for outdoor games like badminton, volleyball, football, and cricket. Pailan Technical Campus provides three different full-time diploma courses, each of three years, in three different programs. The admissions at Pailan Technical Campus are centralised with the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education.    

The students will have to pass the JEXPO, that is, Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics, through which admission and counselling procedures are completed. Since lateral entry admissions are also available, the institute requires the VOCLET scores.
