Pallagatti Adavappa Arts and Commerce First Grade College Tiptur is one of the oldest colleges of Tumkur District in Karnataka which was inaugurated in 1962. This affiliated college which is recognized by NAAC is also offers a various numbers of the UG and PG course in arts and commerce stream. Located on 36 hectare of land, the college offers its 1,959 total enrollment and faculty with 22 experienced teachers. This quality education-centered institution offers three unique degree programs so as to meet various learners’ needs and goals.

The college boasts of providing a variety of facilities to complement the learning process of the college learners. The campus consists of individual hostel facilities for boys and girls so as to provide outstation students with comfortable and satisfactory accommodation. Administrative and information processing block consists of a computer laboratory to provide knowledge and experience of modern computers and peripherals and a well equipped library as a source of information and knowledge. Another block contains state of art laboratories for practical knowledge and experience. 

The institution thus has modern gymnasium and different paraphernalia for sporting activities. Students can access health centre services on campus to meet health needs and first aid since accidents can happen anytime. Students at the college are connected via Wi-Fi, providing backbone support to most of the college’s digital learning projects. For leisure as well as cultural productions, there are an auditorium and cafeteria on the campus to allow the students to interact and create a social feel.

In total, Pallagatti Adavappa Arts and Commerce First Grade College provides its students with three full-time courses to help learner hone the chosen direction. The programmes that this university is currently offering include two undergraduate programmes; the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce and one post graduate programme; Master of Commerce.
