Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Institute of Agriculture Sciences, Manipur (PDDUIAS) is one of the newly established agricultural universities which came into existence in the year 2017. Being a co-educational affiliated college located in Utlou, Bishnupur District, the main function of this college is to promote agricultural studies and learn. P.D.D.U.I.A.S is affiliated to National Assessment and Accreditation Council popularly known as NAAC, for quality output. The institute specially provides different 12 courses under three degree programs in several disciplines related to agriculture. With a student population of 199 and faculty of 45 members, PDDUIAS has provided ample opportunity for enhancing students learning and innovations in agricultural sciences.

The institute has numerous amenities that primarily afford the students and faculty a better experience and enable them achieve their academics successes. Modern equipped library is a centre of knowledge; they stock agricultural literature and research documents altogether. This campus has a new generation IT requirements; students are taken through the current technological advancements on computers. Regarding physical health, PDDUIAS has a section of sports and even a gym. The college also has a health centre where provision of first aid is provided in cases of any emergency. PDDUIAS delivers a complete set of agricultural courses; it provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs. There 6 full-time undergraduate programme in the form of B.Sc and 6 in the form of full time Masters that are known as M.Sc. The B.Sc programs are Agriculture Science (Hons), Horticulture Science (Hons), Community Science (Hons), Fishery Science (Hons), Food Science and Technology (Hons, and Forestry Science. At the post graduate level, the M.Sc programs are agriculture, horticulture, community science, fishery science, food science and technology and forestry. Pursuing a total intensity of 199 students, PDDUIAS provides focused and effective education for each student.
