Paradise College of Education, Jalandhar (PCED) is a recognized college founded in 2005 to produce prospective teachers. This co-educational college is an affiliated college located in Geeta Colony, Kala Sanghian Road, Jalandhar, Punjab. PCED is accredited by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which shows its genuine concern towards quality education. With a 2 acre plot, currently the college has 254 students and also has a faculty of 25 members. PCED has two postgraduate degree programmes in education with focus on training and preparing teachers or education-related persons.

The college boasts a set of different services to improve the level of students’ services. For out-of-town students, PCED provides different hostels for both boys and girls to ensure adequate comfort while in school. The campus well-equipped gym encourages people to keep fit & healthy. Emergency treatment services are provided from a health center with a first aid station where initial treatment may be given. The college library is the heart of young people’s cognitive activities and contains 5267 books, 10 journals, 6 magazines, 6 newspapers, 32 encyclopedias, and 86 dictionaries. Students also get to assess a book bank of 247 books. Academic and co-curricular needs are facilitated by PCED through available sporting amenities, event and seminar venue, an auditorium, and modern practical laboratories for use in practical sessions. Other facilities available on campus are canteen facility, computer center facility and guest house facility for the outstation faculty members and their families.

Paradise College of Education, located in Jalandhar, presently offers education only in two full-time courses. The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme totals andPCR AC-admissionintaka seats for the year 100-100, whereas the Diplo mara in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) total andPCR AC-admissionintaka seats are 50-50. Both programs are structured in such a way that they are expected to be completed within 2 years only. The total number of students that take admission to college is 254, due to principle to keep student strength optimal with teachers for best results in all courses

Paradise College of Education selects its students by the marks scored by them in the qualifying examination and or entrance examination. The college is bound by admission policies stated by the state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliated University. For the B.Ed. programme, the performance in the qualifying examination or other selection process forms the basis for eligibility criteria. 

Likewise, the admissions into D.El.ED programme are on the basis of the merit of the candidate or the norms set by a state government or UT administration.
