Parasakthi College of Education offers two full-time courses: These are two-year programmes namely a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and a Master of Education (M.Ed). The programme B.Ed, which prepares professional teachers, envisages the admission of 200 students, and the M.Ed programme, which is focused on the advanced educational activities, accepts 50 students. Such courses are designed to afford the students a wealth of information regarding educational theories, approaches to teaching and classroom management among other important knowledge . Offering an opportunity for 250 candidates to enter the college offers an opportunity for the college to contribute a lot towards meeting the supply of qualified teachers in the region.

Regarding the B.Ed programme the admission criteria are relative to marks obtained in the qualifying the entrance examination as per rules framed by the state government, and UT administration with the approval of affiliated university.
