Parasakthi College of Education, Kottaipatti, was set up in 2004 and has since then been in the financial forefront of molding the future of education. This co-educational college Sasapatti Via S.Kottaipatti Peraiyur Tk, Madurai Dist Tamil Nadu is producing desired teacher personalities for almost two decades. Affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education the college currently has 471 students in two specialisations the Bachelor of Education and the Bachelor of Technology in Education. Parasakthi College of Education offers two full-time courses: These are two-year programmes namely a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and a Master of Education (M.Ed). The programme B.Ed, which prepares professional teachers, envisages the admission of 200 students, and the M.Ed programme, which is focused on the advanced educational activities, accepts 50 students. Such courses are designed to afford the students a wealth of information regarding educational theories, approaches to teaching and classroom management among other important knowledge .
