Parjang Mahavidyalaya started in 1979, connected college situated in Parjang, Odisha. Situated in the campus of Dhenkanal this institution has been imparting education for the past four decades. This institution provides number of undergraduate with different fields in arts and sciences for 612 enrollees of the college. Parjang Mahavidyalaya offers a total 11 course in 2 different degrees that focuses on specific areas like Anthropology, Economica, Physics, Botany etc. It should be also mentioned that the college provides full-time study programmes, which also pay attention to both trendy and conventional subjects.

Parjang Mahavidyalaya is full with all types of facilities for the students inside the campus. The college has a good library with books and other reading materials as well as computers to support student’s learning. To accomplish this, practical sessions are provided through departmental laboratories for practical experience in various scientific disciplines. This also includes the welfare of its female student that is why the institution also has a provision for a girls’ hostel. For practical physical fitness and recreation, the college owns sports and gymnasium facilities. With several acres of space, the campus cafeteria acts as a break from prevailing classroom learning and dining hall. Further, the college has adopted modern IT structure to support learning and teaching facilities for students and facilitate guest room and waiting room to accommodate the faculties and students’ families, respectively.
