Partap College of Education, Ludhiana was established in year 2000 and is a leading institution mainly committed to teacher education. The process of enrollment at Partap College of Education involves, the marks scored in the qualifying examinations/entrance test. Admission to the B.Ed programme is carried out as per the rules framed by the state government in the context of which performance in qualifying tests or specific test may be required. The M.Ed programme also has a similar pattern with regard to admission control where students are admitted on merit in qualifying exams or entrance tests as per rules of state government or university. The D.El.Ed programme also follows the merit system of selection, according to the rules of the state government / UT administration.
