About Patharkandi College of Education Affiliated college established in the year 1995 College at Patharkandi, Karimganj district of Assam Co-Educational institution participating in Teacher Education with two specialised courses College approved by the National Council for Teacher Education established in a sprawling campus of 11.82 acres. The faculty strength of Patharkandi College of Education is 24 devoted to their task of molding teachers for tomorrow. Patharkandi College has various facilities to help its learners have an excellent learning experience. Patharkandi College of Education offers two full-time courses in teacher education. The admission process is totally based upon merit in the qualifying examination for admission to Patharkandi College of Education. For the B.Ed programme, however, the college would get the entrance examination score or any other selection process as may be considered by the policy of the central government or the affiliated university. The admissions to the D.El.Ed programme shall also be made on the merit basis of marks secured in the qualified examination, entrance examination, or any other selection criteria decided upon by the state government or UT administration.
