Recognition as an affiliated college for undergraduate programs under faculties: arts and science: Patitapaban Degree College, Keonjhar. Admissions to any part of the program basically depend on merit. Hence, all students deserving to pursue higher learning are given an equal opportunity to realize their dreams in their desired fields.  Undergraduate education is imparted for 13 subjects divided into 2 faculties, Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.). They aim to groom the students in the basic way regarding their respective fields. The process of admission generally commences soon after the declaration of the 10+2 results. The admission is dependent directly on the marks obtained in the examination qualifying for it.

Application Process

The process starts with the announcement of admission through the college official website and local newspapers.

1. The candidate has to fill out the application form. 

2. The application forms are available at the college admission office or can be downloaded from the college website.

3. The duly filled application forms have to be submitted, along with the following documents:

• Marksheet and certificate of 10+2 or equivalent
• Transfer Certificate, if any
• Character Certificate
• Recent passport-size photographs
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Any other relevant certificate/document as required by the college.

4. Merit List Generation: The college will publish the merit list computed according to the marks scored by candidates in the qualifying examination with a cutoff mark for each program in the concerned subjects.

5. If required, such a merit list will be published on the notice board of the college and also on the official website.

6. Counseling and Admission: Counseling is conducted, whereby short-listed candidates can opt for the program they want, depending on their rank in merit and on the availability of seats.

7. Candidates are required to pay their admission fees as per the prescribed timeline for ensuring their offered seat.

8. Final confirmation of admissions shall be done after verifying the documents.
