PMCH Patna is a great college established in 1925 and is a most developed college and if we see AIIMs Patna as it is one of AIIMs colleges than it is definitely in top College. But both colleges are best comparing both of them is tough .
But in today's date choosing AIIMS will be kind of slightly better caused it is more modernised as compared to PCMH with latest technologies. And more government facility but there is no reserved quota in AIIMs. But you can't underrate PCMH .
You havent mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, the cut off ranks for Dharbhanga Medical College for various Categories have been as follows:
General Category: 9039
SC: 93330
ST: 72207
BC: 9755
EWS: 9582
DQ: 269881
EBC: 11293
You can check the cut offs of Patna Medical College at: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. So for NEET 2020, if you belong to General Category, you will need atleast 625 and if you belong to Reserved Categories, you will need more than 500. And again the cut offs might be higher as the preparation time has been more than last years' and competition is going to get tough. And Bihar is one of the States with higher cut offs. So you need to aim for 500-625 based on your Category. And if you are preparing for NEET, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/ . Hi,
NEET 2019 cutoff was increased by 15 marks for each category. The minimum score required for SC/ST candidates was 40th percentile which is equal to 133-107 marks.
Thank you!
Dear Praful, PWD is not a vertical reservation. It is a reservation given within your Category. For example lets say if you belong to General Categor, you will be eligible for General Category - PWD reservation. But you do not get separate reservation. In 2019, Bihar had one of the highest cut offs for its State MBBS seats. Irrespective of your Category, you should aim for atleast 600 for a seat in Patna Medical College. Now this is based on 2019 cut offs. But cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. The cut offs might decrease with increase in the no.of availability of seats. Considering all these factors, 600 should be an ideal score.
The college has clean classrooms, big library and well equiped laboratories. The college also has a hospital with 2000 beds and government invest alot to make it a good hospital. The college also has hostel facilities .
