Have a question related to PMC Patna ?

What is the ranking of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical College? Is it better college than PMCH (Patna Medical College and Hospital)?

According to nirf 2021 RML Hospital is ranked 14th among medical colleges in India

Both colleges are best in their own way but if you prioritize modern facilities and a progressive learning environment with modern technology equipment, RMLIMC Lucknow may be the better choice. However, if you value tradition, a strong historical reputation because it is an old medical college, and extensive clinical exposure and high patient flow, PMCH Patna might suit you better. Consider visiting both institutions, if possible, to get a feel for the environment and resources before making your decision.

Hello,

Based on your NEET score of 586 and SC category rank of 3445, you have a strong chance of securing a seat at Patna Medical College through the state quota. The previous year’s cutoff for the SC category in the first round of Bihar state quota counselling was around an AIR (All India Rank) of 58388, which corresponds to a score of approximately 536.

Since your score is significantly higher than the previous year's cutoff, it is likely that you will be eligible for admission to Patna Medical College. However, keep in mind that cutoffs can vary each year based on the number of applicants, difficulty of the exam, and seat availability.

which one is best pmch patna or rml lucknow

Hello,

Both PMCH Patna (Patna Medical College and Hospital) and RML Lucknow (Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences) are respected institutions, but they differ in some aspects.

PMCH, one of the oldest medical colleges in India, is known for its experience, larger patient load, and comprehensive medical services, offering a vast exposure to real-world cases.

However, it may face infrastructure challenges. RML Lucknow, a newer institute, has modern facilities, better infrastructure, and specialized care but might have a relatively lower patient diversity. The best choice depends on your priorities—clinical exposure or infrastructure quality.

Hope it helps !
