Paulsons Teacher Training College is a well-known teacher training college, started in 2004, is located at Villupuram, Tamil Nadu. This college for both boys and girls is recognised institution affiliated to NCTE for offering quality education in teaching profession. Paulsons Teacher Training College offers two full-time courses: Bachelors in Education commonly known as B. Ed and Masters in Education commonly known as M. Ed. The application capacity of the B.Ed programme is 100 and that of the M.Ed programme is 50 approved for admission. The two courses take two years to complete offering an all-round preparation on the theories of education and practice as well. Every core teaching programme in the college can be tailored for targeted preparation of quality educators to face the demands of today’s teaching learning environment.

The admission process of Paulsons Teacher Training College remains in compliance with the state government, the university, and NCTE requirements. In regard to the B.Ed programme it shall be taken on merit basis by number of marks obtained in the qualifying examination as well as entrance examination. The college may also set extra examinations that prospective students may be required to sit an perform in accordance to the standard policies of the specific state.
