Dr Ambedkar College of Arts & Commerce College, Pune, was setup in the year 1985 by the People’s Education Society, which is one of the largest educational institutes in Maharashtra. This affiliated college situated near Krishna Mandir, Jai Jawan Nagar, Yerwada has been preparing minds for the past nearly four decades. The institution is indeed accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to testify how serious it is over the improvement of quality education. The college currently has 849 students and a faculty of 8 members. It currently provides 5 courses spread over 4 degree programmes in arts and commerce streams. The college thus has diverse amenities that have been set up with the view of improving the student experience.

For the postgraduate side, there is an option to take MA in Economics or History offered in 60 seats, or M.Com offered also in 60 seats. All these programmes aim at making sure students develop a strong academic base as well as the skills they need while in their workplaces.
