Periyar University Constituent College of Arts &Science for Men &Worship, Pennagaram was established in the year 2010, is located in Dharmapuri district Tamil Nadu. It is one of the constituent colleges of Periyar University and teaches undergraduate and postgraduate education programmes. The campus is 15.96 acres, to accommodate its 983 students and faculty, conserving a spacious area indeed. Currently, the college has a strong student population composition: 84 percent of learners attend their underclassmen curriculum, while 16 percent participate in graduate classes. The faculty employed at the institution stands at 9 and there is an emphasis placed on the quality of education in 7 courses offered in 6 degree programmes in the arts, commerce, and science streams.

The college, as for other needs of female students many of which originate from remote areas, has provided for a girls hostel with a capacity of one hundred students. Sport lovers can use both enclosed and open space facilities, and the students are encouraged to engage in inter and intra-department tournaments under the supervision of a Physical Director. In order to meet changing demands in education, the college provides proper IT facilities for its learners.

The undergraduate programmes consist of full time courses with duration of three years, including BA English Full Time, B.Com Full Time, B.Sc Mathematics Full Time, B.Sc Computer Science Full Time. At postgraduate level the college offers two years full time courses in Master of Arts Tamil, Master of Commerce, and Master of Science in computer science. The total approved intake for all courses is 322 seats and the maximum number of seats are being filled for every first year student intake in BA English, B.Com and B.Sc Mathematics 60 seats each. The following enrolment was recorded in the most recent academic year; the total enrolment was 983 students where as 828 students were enroled in undergraduate programmes while 155 students were enroled in post graduate programmes.
