Hi ! If you are flexible with branches then I would prefer CSE at pesit. It is so because in nits too civil placement are not that strong, whereas computer streams is a hot stream now and lot of opportunities are there in CSE. In pesit the placement of CSE department is very good. You can also take civil in nit suratkal and later after acquiring good marks can update your branch. Congartulations on your rank in kcet. Well, since you have not mentioned which quota you belong to- home state or all india quota, I am taking it to be under all India quota. The courses I am referring are in respect with pevious year closing ranks of the institute. Based on your performance ,you shall secure admissions in the following courses of PES University (PESU) , Bangalore:

Computer Science Engineering

Thanks for your query. With a rank of 9440 it's a bit impossible to get ECE in PESIT campus because ECE closes at around 4k-5k. SO even after various rounds of counselling you won't be able to get an ECE seat in PESIT campus.

It depends upon your category and competition and also the campus you want . If you want PESIT west campus then your rank should be under 500 . If you want PESIT South Campus , then rank should be under 1400 . So with a rank of 3200 it would be difficult to get CS , maybe through reservation you might have a chance. 

The closing rank of information science in ramaiah in 2018 was 977 for general category in round 1 and 1037 in round 2 . So you do have a good chance of getting IT in the last rounds or with reservation.

Hi, according to previous years cutoff ranks.A rank between 800 to 1000 in pessat can get you a seat in pes south campus computer science branch. It also takes admission through kcet exam if you have given kcet you can check cutoff ranks according to that for cse branch

You can get the EEE branch at rv College and bms College. I will suggest you to apply for CSE in Rit and pesit. You can get CSE at these colleges. If you want the top college then go with the rvce option.
