PG College of Pharmaceutical Science and Research is an affiliated college situated at Nandurbar, Maharashtra devoted to the pharmaceutical education. The year it was set up is unknown; however, it has already been recognized as an institution for pharmacy education. Recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the college provides two exclusive courses in the field of pharmacy. At present, the total strength of faculty members is 24 members, and the institute aims to provide quality education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. The fact that the college majors in the teaching of pharmacy subjects makes it a unique college for those who want to be trained as professional pharmacists.
The college has availed itself with various state-of-art infrastructures that facilitate students learning process. Of special mention is the Information Technology infrastructure which includes a computer Laboratory with High configuration machines, Printers, Laptops, LCD Projections and a Centralized LAN. The college is also in the process of putting into place Wi-Fi throughout the college. School’s library that is referred to as the central reference of the institution has all the books computerized and ranges approximately 3500 books on 500 different titles and 6 national and International journals. It also have a distinct service known as Book Bank Facility under which books can be taken by students on a semester basis for meager charges. The college for physical recreation has formulated the sporting facilities for cricket, football, both basketball and volleyball for the enhancement of the students in both physical and academic activities. There is a cafeteria within school compound and students use it as a recreational area because beverages and foods are relatively cheap. The college also has well equipped department based practical laboratories to facilitate practicals in College of pharmaceutical sciences.
PG College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research has enrollment of two full time courses in pharmacy. The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) programme is of four-year duration and has an intake capacity of 100 students Every year the college offers Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) for 60 students. Such programs are focused on imparting a sound knowledge and competency of the business to students as well as qualification to work in distinct sectors of the pharmaceutical company.
PG College of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research has the admission procedure known as Centralized Admission Procedure (CAP) for all the courses which are organized according to CET Cell, Mumbai. This makes the admission to run fairly and uniformly in order to favor all students.
