Phonics School of Diploma Programmes, Roorkee: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

The Phonics School of Diploma Programmes, Roorkee was established in 2009. This is a co-ed institute that is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi. It offers various types of diploma programmes in engineering fields. The institution has 113 faculty members presently.

Everything to enhance learning is found in the Phonics School for Diploma Programs. The well-equipped library includes ample books, journals, both national and international, and digital resources for self-study. Laboratories in the college are well-equipped with advanced instruments pertaining to various streams of engineering studies, offering practical exposure among the students in respective fields. There is Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the campus, which helps in providing high-speed internet access throughout the class, hostels, and common areas.

The Institute has excellent sports facilities and well-equipped gyms for the physical well-being of the students. Further, separate hostel accommodations for both boys and girls ensure eased living with all sorts of facilities like 24 hours power backup catering to their needs.

The institute offers three full-time diploma courses each of three years duration: Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Diploma in Electrical Engineering II Shift. The curriculum is so designed as to emphasize the development of strong fundamentals of engineering principles with an emphasis on practical applications toward meeting the needs of industry. 

Admission into the Phonics School of Diploma Programmes is selective and is based on the performance of candidates in some relevant qualifying examinations.
