Pijush Kanti Mukherjee Mahavidyalaya is situated at Sonapur, in West Bengal's Alipurduar district, and is one of the relatively new institutions in the state. The college was established in the year 2015. After its establishment, this affiliated college started with a gradually increasing graph. Presently, there are enrolments of 1,081 students in the college running three under-graduate degree courses. The college is spread over 5.21 acres of land.
