Pilathara Cooperative Arts and Science College, Pilathara, started functioning in 2008, is an affiliated college in Kannur, Kerala. The institution prides in having put up 16 different courses spread across 9 degree programmes, serving a total student enrolment of 833. Located in a 5 acre area, the college comprises 44 faculty members including a team of committed teachers. Pilathara Cooperative Arts and Science College offers B,A and B.Com and M.A, M.Sc and B.Sc in Computer Science, Physics, BA English with Journalion and Master of Business Administration.

Pilathara Cooperative Arts and Science College is dedicated for positive teaching and learning environment enhanced by appropriate facilities. The campus has well equipped library which has more than 7,371 books, 8 periodicals and 14 academic journals. Students are able to use a computer laboratory equipped with forty computers as well as internet connection so that they can cover up on the technological improvements. The college also has subject specific laboratory to facilitate practical experience in different courses. Although the institution does not have recreational facilities, it has sports facilities such as a basketball court, a volley ball court and tennis court, an auditorium for events and seminars. The college canteen provides hygienically prepared affordable meals and a comfortable sitting arrangement for the staff and the students.

A total of sixteen courses are being offered in Pilathara Cooperative Arts and Science College; both the undergraduate and postgraduate course. The course is be offered in Arts, Science, Commerce and Management streams among others. Of the courses, full time programmes make up the bigger part of the courses with diplomas also available.

Every course offered by the college has its specific requirements for admission to both under graduate and post graduate programmes. In case of M.Sc Computer Science, college has an approved intake capacity of 20 students alone.
