In 1999, Pillai College of Engineering (PCE), Panvel was established and it is an autonomous College. The Pillai College of Engineering has been accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade. The PCE has been approved by AICTE. The PCE Panvel is an autonomous college of the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
Pillai College of Engineering Panvel main objective is to provide quality education through practical training and interaction with industries and social organisations. PCE offers courses that include B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M. Tech and Ph.D. To get admitted to the PCE, the candidates should appear for the appropriate entrance exam, such as JEE Main/ MHT CET/GATE and secure a valid score. PCE admissions are done based on the scores secured in the entrance exam. Students are advised to appear for the PET exam conducted by the college to acquire PhD admissions at PCE Panvel.

Our college has a great infrastructure with advanced facilities. It consists of Robotics lab, advanced 5G technology labs, basic electrical engineering labs along with many computer labs having advanced softwares to make the learning experience better. Our classrooms contain projectors which helps in understanding the curriculum digitally. Overall, the infrastructure is the best.
The facilities provided by our college are very good, as they basically provide a lot of facilities required by students. The library is so well maintained and every book is present there for reference. The hostel is also well maintained and the warden is also well behaved. The food is also good in the hostel.
Pillai has an excellent infrastructure compared to the other colleges in Navi Mumbai. Large and spacious classrooms, AC labs, huge libraries with large number of book available, canteen, corridors, etc. are provided by the college. Large playgrounds are available for the students. College provides Wi-Fi connection in your laptops.

Automobile engineering is not upto that level which you will find in IIT Madras, NIT Warangal and IIT Roorkee. Companies do visit the campus but the core companies that visit the campus are less .
Companies like TATA Motors, TATA Steel ,Vedanta , Bajaj do not visit the campus. More than 60% of the batch are placed in the Analytics field. Some of the percentage is placed in the SDE Area and then after all this they are placed in core sector
