Pingle Government Degree College for Women, Warangal, was set up in the year of 1965, is an Autonomous college located at Hanamkonda, Telangana. The college is located in a 4 acre land and has been awarded accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The current faculty members are 34, the institute offers 31 courses in seven degrees programmes. The college provides a rich variety of specialisations in science, arts and commerce streams for girls only. The population of students totals 70% undergraduates and 30% postgraduates; 99% of them are local residents.
