Piyush Prashikshan Mahavidyalya, Amethi: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Piyush Prashikshan Mahavidyalya, Amethi was established in the year 2015. It is a college affiliated to Mishrauli, Gauriganj Tehsil, Amethi District, Uttar Pradesh. This co-educational institution is duly approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi with a view to providing quality education in the field of teacher training. This institution offers two undergraduate courses with a total intake of 300 students in its courses. Though specific ranking information is not available, Piyush Prashikshan Mahavidyalya serves the purpose of making higher education more accessible to the students from Amethi. The college has a number of facilities that benefit the students in every possible way. The college has different in-campus hostels for both boys and girls. These hostels provide a fine living environment for those students who come from far-off places. The campus is well serviced by a properly stacked library, which is quite necessary for research works and study purposes. 

There are well-equipped laboratories for the practical requirements of science and technology-related subjects. In addition, there is a cafeteria in Piyush Prashikshan Mahavidyalya for refreshments and socialisation, thereby providing an opportunity to enhance social skills and fraternity amongst students. An auditorium for events and seminars will provide a platform to develop a vibrant campus culture. This includes two guest rooms, one each for visiting faculties and family members, and well-maintained IT infrastructure to help the students pursue modern learning. 

Piyush Prashikshan Mahavidyalya offers two full-time courses in the form of BA and B.Ed. The sanctioned intake for the BA course is 200 seats and the duration is three years, while for the latter it is a 100-seat course with a two-year duration. While the former is designed to suit the needs of the artistic students, the latter serves the educational requirement of the students at large through laying the foundation for career development. The approved intake of both courses is of 300 seats to indicate a commitment towards rendering quality education to a good number of students in the entire region.The admission process at Piyush Prashikshan Mahavidyalya varies depending on the course. Admission to the B.Ed programme is based on merit, which considers marks scored in the qualifying and/or entrance examination. Other selection processes may also be followed as per the policies of the Uttar Pradesh State Government and the affiliated university. Though admission details are not provided for the BA course, it is surely going to follow a similar merit-based system common to undergraduate admissions in the region.
