PN Das College, Palta was established in the year 1962 at Santinagar, Palta, West Bengal. It is a general affiliated college spread over 4.285 acres of campus area, running diverse undergraduate programs. This NAAC-accredited institution has a total enrolment of 1,068 students out of which female and male students constitute 55% and 45%, respectively. It has a faculty strength of 19 and offers 11 courses in 6 streams in arts, commerce and science streams.

The college further commits itself to providing an optimum learning environment with various facilities.
