PNCA B Ed College, Prakasam Admission Process

It is established as a teacher-specific training institution. The college features two primary programs-Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed)-for the purpose of preparing aspiring teachers for effective professional careers in education. The admissions process is patterned with respect to the merit criteria adopted by the State Government of Andhra Pradesh in consultation with the affiliated university and thus selects qualified candidates. Following the academic calendar of Andhra Pradesh is the admission cycle of the college. Specified dates differ from year to year, but it is mostly between July and August of the academic year starting around September or August that prospective students should begin applying. It is expected that applicants keeping abreast of information regarding application deadlines and important dates will do so through the college's official website or by contacting the college's admissions office.

Basic eligibility is a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university for entry into the B.Ed program. However, the D.El.Ed program would usually require candidates to have completed their + 2 education. Some requirements such as minimum percentages for the qualifying examination may be specified by the state government or affiliated to the university. Both programs are merit-based, drawing from the marks gained in the qualifying examination. However, for B.Ed, performance in state-level entrance tests may also be given regard.
