About PEC Puducherry
Started in 1984, Puducherry Engineering College Puducherry is an esteemed college that is funded entirely by the government of Puducherry. It started as a part of the seventh five-year plan but has continued to be promoted by the government. It is essentially a public college and is approved by the AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education).
Puducherry Engineering College, Puducherry is well-equipped with a lot of facilities and is proud of being a government college that is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and NBA (National Board of Accreditation) alike. The college campus is so spacious with various facilities to the students . Like the college provides well maintained classrooms , playground , canteen facility , hostels and also quality of food is so good .

The college has a good infrastructure . Placements: Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is 15 lacs per @nnum and the lowest salary offered is Rs..rs 4 lakh per annum .
The college is ranked 49th. It belongs to tier-2 colleges. Not as good as the IIT's and NIT's but a decent state level government institution.
