Puducherry Engineering College, Puducherry is a state-funded engineering college founded in 1984. • Marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be normalised with the marks obtained in the board examination (Tamil Nadu).

• Applicants have to first appear for the GATE examination and clear the qualifying cutoff score.

• Applicants have to fill out the CENTAC application form online for M Tech admission.

• Candidates are selected based on their GATE marks or percentile.

• The CGPA from the 3rd to 8th semester of the UG course is considered if there's a tie between candidates due to the same GATE marks.

• In case of any vacancy, the seats for M Tech students are then filled by non-GATE candidates.

• The selected candidates have to go through a counselling procedure and document verification before admission to PEC.
