Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Polytechnic College is situated in Thanjavur, Tamilnadu and was established in the year 2005 which is working as a pillar to fulfill the future generation engineers. Located inTrichy Highway Vallam, this affiliated college occupies vast land of 10.42 acres. It is an institution recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education for offering a wide assortment of educational diploma courses across different branches of engineering. At present, the college has 688 student and 56 faculty and staff.

Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Polytechnic College  features variety of systems and amenities in an attempts to improve the learning and teaching process of the college. Ponnaiyah Ramajayam Polytechnic College offers a total of five diploma programmes and all these courses are of three years in full time. These courses offer engineering knowledge focusing on the main principles to prepare the students for their professional fields. The cumulative approved intake for all the courses offered in the college is 360 Students, this threshold from the college management cements its policy of quality education through regulation of large intakes through classes. The courses offered are Diploma in Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Civil, and Computer Science and Engineering.
