Prabharani B.P.Ed College was established in the year 2006 in the district of Murshidabad, West Bengal, as an affiliated college. The institution is a co-educational one with special courses in physical education at the degree level; namely, B.P.Ed. The institution has the approval of NCTE with the mission of building up future professionals regarding physical education. 

The infrastructural facilities that the college has range from serving the enriching of learning experiences to holistic development.
