Pravara Institute of Research & Education in Natural & Social Sciences situated at Loni of Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra was established ingetc year 1993 as an affiliated college. Located on a rather small area of 4.5 acres, this institute is rather diverse in the programs it provides for management, computer applications and vocational stream. The capacity of the institute has a total intake of 169 students and faculty strength of 20 this enables the institute to offer focused learning environment. The institute ‘conducts’ four full time courses MBA, MCA and two B.Voc programs to fulfil the educational and career requirements of students.

There are two different hostels for boys and girls respectively to facilitate accommodated out station students on the campus. The total admitted student bar per all courses is three hundred and thirty; MBA course has a bar of one hundred and twenty seats while MCA course got ninety seats with equal hundred and sixty bar of B.Voc courses. The process of admission in the Pravara Institute differs programme wise. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is the entrance examination criteria for MBA programme in the college. The MCA program undertaking has admission through the Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test (MAH MCA CET). The B.Voc programs are open for admission at the Institute level either on the basis of an Institute level Entrance Test or on the basis of Test conducted by the Competent Authority. It also has Training and Placement Cell through which students are provided information regarding placements after completing the course.
