An all-girls institution offering higher education at the heart of Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh, Premwati Devi Smarak Mahila Mahavidyalaya has grown into itself since its inception in the year 2009. Being affiliated to the Prayagraj University, NCTE approved, the institute is a shining light of female education in the region. The college is at Puraini, Nagina and offers four undergraduate programmes under its umbrella to cater to the various academic interests. The college boasts of a faculty strength of 8 dedicated educators, who have made this institution aim for providing quality education in an environment that fosters growth and empowerment. The college boasts of a range of facilities designed to enhance the learning experience of its students.

A well-equipped library serves as the intellectual hub of the campus, which houses over 300 books, 820 reference books, an encyclopedia, a dictionary, and four journals. The reading room can accommodate 50 students who can study and research in an amiable environment. Institutionally, the institution has a modern computer lab with current configurations and broadband connectivity to cater to all the students so that the students are provided with the basic technological skills. 

Physical development and recreational activities of the students can be further enhanced with the aid of the sports facility available for all students. In any case, the college auditoriums would function as a venue for all kinds of events and seminars to induce a vibrant culture on campus. Other college facilities include WiFi connectivity, transport facilities and well-equipped laboratories for practical knowledge building in all disciplines.

Premwati Devi Smarak Mahila Mahavidyalaya offers four regular courses that are tailored to fulfil the needs of diverse career aspirations. BA and B.Sc programmes are three-year courses. The BA programmes give a solid foundation in humanities, while the B.Sc course provides a foundational input in sciences. There is also the two-year B.Ed course for those who incline the noble profession of teaching. D.El.Ed programme is also provided, with a total capacity of 50 students, in order to prepare students for elementary-level teaching in the college.

 There is proper admission process in the Premwati Devi Smarak Mahila Mahavidyalaya which is carried in free, fair, and transparent manner which takes into account only merit. The selections in the B.Ed programme are purely based on merit, as evaluated from the marks obtained in the qualifying exam and/or entrance exam, so updated by the State Government, UT Administration, and the Affiliated University. For the D.El.Ed programme also, the selection is taken up on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam and/or entrance test, guidelines so provided by the State Government or UT Administration.
