President College of Education, Gandhinagar was established in the year 2007 as a forerunner college for the future development in the education field in Gujarat. This affiliated college is sited at Vardhaman Nagar Society, Kalol, under the affiliation of National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE. It has a compact campus of 2.47 acres where students can indulge in a concentrated learning environment.

It has a number of modern-day facilities to assist its academic journey. In the library, there are over 3,400 books, journals, and periodicals. Students meet up to their needs during the academic journey. The computer laboratory, with 12 networked systems and internet facilities, helps the students keep up with changes in education trends. There is a well-equipped science laboratory for practical experiments. This multi-functional hall would provide an active platform for the multitude of academic and extracurricular activities to make sure all-round learning in the students.

One such College of Education is the President College of Education. This president college of education is essentially involved in the training of teachers. There is only one full-time course running: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). It is a two-year program. The approved intake of this program is 100 students. The B.Ed course includes the provision of theoretical knowledge, skills, and practical experience to the students to serve as a successful teacher.

The admission to the program of B.Ed in President College of Education is centralized through the state system of Gujarat. This means that it has a quota system; therefore, the students are admitted 85% under the government quota and 15% under management quota.
