Prime College of Engineering is an affiliated Institute situated in Palakkad, Kerala State, India which was started in the year 2007. This co-educational school is strategically located on a 75 acre property and has several programmes in engineering. The college has 113 faculty members who are committed to produce quality engineers of tomorrow. Prime College of Engineering has five B.Tech programmes which are of four years each in engineering fields.

Prime College of Engineering provides a range of facilities comprehending the following. There are special hostels for boys and girls in the campus; this has offered a concessive and protecting accommodation. Every hostel contains such amenities as study areas, recreation halls and dining halls in accordance with present day requirements. Prime College of Engineering has in total five different full-time B.Tech programmes for students. These are Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. All the programmes offered are four-year full time programme aimed to give a vast knowledge in their line of specialty.

The steps taken towards admission at Prime College of Engineering are quite simple and follow the policy of non- discrimination. Different engineering colleges in India actually admit students into various courses, however, it is not uncommon for the national and state level entrance examination scores in addition to marks in the 10+2 or equivalent examination. The college may also accept scores from the commonly written engineering entrance tests.
