The Prime Institute of Engineering and Technology, Navsari, is a somewhat young institute, established in the year 2016, that has seen meteoric rise in the engineering educational sector. Located in a pleasant village, Mangrol in the Navsari District of Gujarat, this co-educational institute sprawls over 12 acres of land. This is an affiliated college approved by AICTE, offering different programs in the field of Engineering. This institution has a total student enrolment of 315, with a faculty strength of 42, thus maintaining a very favorable student-teacher ratio, assuring personalized attention and quality education. The institute has a range of modern facilities designed to improve the learning experience of its students.

There are well-supplied laboratories for each department that provide hands-on experience, which is an essential part of engineering education. This is a treasure house with an inventory of more than 36,822 books, 150 national and international journals, and over 300 online journals. Besides, students can make use of the DELNET membership, which allows for 24x7 online access to libraries across the world. Equally impressive is the IT infrastructure where the central, air-conditioned computer center comes equipped with 250 computers and high-speed internet connectivity. The institution also offers a single room in the hostel, fully furnished with all amenities and meals from the college mess, separately for boys and girls, if the student wishes to reside within the campus.

Presently, PIET is offering five full-time BE programs, each four-year-long. This comprises BE in Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. The total approved enrolled  for all courses is 210 seats; Computer Engineering and Chemical Engineering have the highest enrolled of 60 each, and three other programs are offered with 30 seats each. All courses are in full-time mode, and the students will have thorough theoretical knowledge and practical skills in their chosen field.
