College infrastructure is spread across 1 acre campus in Matunga, Mumbai. It has great classrooms, excellent digital infrastructure including the access to My loft. The IT lab is very helpful and for rural Management students, the agriculture lab makes it even experiential.
Highly qualified teachers make it more interactive when we talk about the classroom participation, classes are set in such a way students don't get bored. The monotonous nature of class setting makes the academics more interactive and interesting.
CMC is thriving to place all the students and making it more effective, companies on board are doing well and students are also been made to give mock group discussions and mock interviews, which inturn helps us a lot.
The ROI on average is currently stable, and doing good.
Lots of different activities going on in the college, like round table conference, Ranbhoomi (intra-college sports event), Impact(inter-college sports event), students take a lead and do all the organisation with the full support by the staff.
Amazing Infrastructure with high tech equipments and facilities available to help you prosper. We have computer labs, RedEx, Bloomberg and many such amazing facilities for students which we try to utilise as much as we can to upskill ourselves.
The academics arw up to date with current educational and industrial needs. Students are taught about latest techs and skills in the market. The education is more practical based like giving presentations, making projects on Python, SQL, Power BI, etc.
Placements are usually good but since the current industry is down hence less amount of companies are coming. But the college is trying its best to place all yhe students, be it for summer internships or final placements.
It costs around 14 lakhs for the complete PGDM course. According to the average placements they are providing the fees is somewhat justified, also it's located in Mumbai hence the higher cost. And yes if you work hard you can get more than what you have paid for.
Campus life is amazing. It's fun before, between, and after the lectures. People here are amazing, from students to faculties, everyone is supportive as well as friendly. You will make a lot of friends here, even the teachers support and help in every possible way.
The college has all the basic amenities from classroom, smartboard, canteen and even recreational room too. All the hostels have wifi connections. The canteen food is really good and has many dishes. The classrooms are well equipped with plugins and library has books related to all the subjects. In recreational room we have many games such as carrom, pool, table tennis etc.
I am studying the course of E-Business and the quality of teaching is really good and on point. The teachers are nice and the subjects revolve around digitalization. I chose this course because I like IT related subjects. The curriculum is open to changes and is updated according to the market needs in a manager.
Being a junior I am not much aware of the placements but college has good quality of placements in big companies like Infosys, mckinsey, amazon, TATA and many more. The highest package offered was 24 lakh and the average salary is of 11 Lpa.
My course costed 7 lakhs per annum. I am getting my money worth because I love the environment here and all other events are really worth coming here for. The subjects are also according to the market needs and are fun to learn like Power Bi, Excel etc
College campus life is great. It has a lot of events and conferences to engage and network. The college does not have its own ground for outdoor sports. It has less lift capacity and canteen is a bit costly. The staff is very supportive and the college is in a good place and can handle emrgencies.
College have necessary infrastructure, and have all necessary facilities like wifi and smart board for students. Campus is well maintained and hygienic. Cleanliness is there all the classrooms are clean.
I am PGDM program. Curriculum is updated every year according to industry demand. You will be industry and job ready after getting out from college which is good thing about thia college. Syllabus is well curated.
Average packege is nearly around 12 lakh. Placement is nearly 100 percent. All the students get place in college. There is umbrella placement in college so irrespective of your program you can seat for placement process of company if you meet company criteria.
The fees is 7 lakh per year and total fees is 14 lakh.
College staff is very supportive.
.
Infrastructure of classrooms is very good. There are good washrooms available and sanitary dispensers are there. Good canteen facility with computer labs and halls for functions. Seperate auditorium and brainstorm area.
Academic is good circular is good subjects are good but it is hectic to cope up with the lengthy circullum else it's easy going and facilities are very good at teaching provide quality assignments to us.
Placement are good but this year Market is down and hence it ha s affected the placement. Companies likhe dhl Amazon and deoleo Accenture come over for campus. Also Infosys. 100% placement assistance is given.
Course costed 14 lakhs for 2 year.
It is good and has lots of activities
the college have a good infrastructure with classroom equipped with led screen for teaching. the college has various other facilities like 2 libraries, LRC, it labs, gym, etc. overall the institute has all the latest technology required for the teaching and recreational purpose. The boys hostel is provided with all the facilities like common induction stove, washing machine. only issue is the housekeeping only cleans the room in your presence.
The academics are up to date with the latest industry trends and the curriculum is designed regularly according to these trends. In rural management program you get the chance to explore the on field market which gives good exposure. The faculties are a mix of internal as well as guest faculties which sometimes lead to colleges on weekend as well
placement in welingkar is decent as per the previous record for summer internship all the students were placed irrespective of paid or unpaid internship. regarding the executive placement the highest placement is 40 lac. per annum with average of 10-13lpa most of the MNC's visit welingkar for camupus drive.
the fees seems to be quite high as 14 lacs. but the fees is worth the cost a the learning and exposure you will be getting while your 2 years course can easily make up to the 14 lacs invested. the ROI might not look decent in the first glance but looking toward brand value it is worth it
the campus is near matunga station so commuting to college is easy. in campus various extra curriculum activities and business conclaves are held. Major events include impact- inter college cricket tournament, runbhoomi, and webizz- business festival to expand network. if you are participating in the activities then chances are there you might miss some of the important lectures
Welingkar is an amazing institute with best placements in the world and can't even describe how great the college life here is especially our honorable GD uday salunkhe sir is super inspirational.....

Hello Gopika, it's nice to connect with you! I'm currently pursuing PGDM in Business Design at Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai, with a functional concentration finance. I'm actively seeking a summer internship and would love the opportunity to gain exposure by working with Grant Thornton. Could you please inform me if there are any available positions?
Limited classrooms and because of this there are now 2 shifts for first and second year respectively. There is renovation going on to build further floors and more classrooms but keep an eye out for the batch size
Depending on the course, the subjects aren't too detailed because of trimester system. In my course and specialization, there are more subjects than the time to catch up with them. This means going to classes regularly becomes mandatory
The placements started late compared to other colleges and given the economy many students are still unplaced in feb. There is also lot of competition within college given the batch size and umbrella placements.
Depends on the individual, I'm an outstation student so my total expense was more than just the fees
Not a residential campus
College infrastructure is great. It has all the necessary facilities from Auditorium, Classrooms with cable connections, Smart Board etc. What sets the college apart is its Recreational room which consists of various activities such as Pool, Carrom, Table Tennis and GYM. The college also consists of hostels in various locations, innowe lab, makers lab focusing on innovation. Other facilities include Brainstorm room, Nirvana Hall. All the facilities are well maintained. The food in canteen is hygienic and has numerous choices which includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian both. I personally love the tea of my canteen.
I am a first year student in the PGDM E-Business course. I am pursuing this course because of the growing age of technologies mainly AI and many more. My curriculum is really good as it mostly consists of the subjects that will be helpful in the today's corporate world focusing on digitalization.
The placements record has always been great so far. The year intake is of 800 students approximately. My batch has 120 students. The college has 100% placements with average package of 8LPA per annum and the highest package of 24LPA in the year 2023 from the course Rural Management. The placement process is from easy to moderate depending on the companies and candidates. College tries it best to place all the students and is supportive.
I paid for this 2 year course a total of 14 lakhs. The money is worth for because I like my course and the subjects it includes. I have learned a lot like research, practical projects, surveys, visualization etc
The campus life is amazing. A lot of events take place from sports, fests, conferences and many more competitions. All the teachers are well qualified and supportive. The location is convenient and close to railway station.
It's a great opportunity to study here.
I didn't go to college as it was hybrid course. I had visited the college during presentations and it was a magnificent building with infrastructure and good facilities and auditorium classrooms. The place is super clean and spacious.
As it is not under any university, it has its own current situation driven syllabus. I have studied finance and the curriculum was with all the advance products in the financial market. They have real life experts session once in a month.
There are vast number of opportunities for placement. Placements are available all through the curriculum and plus one year extra. Average salary is around 20 thousand to 40 thousand for a fresher or person who has started.
I had applied for hybrid course hence the course costed me around 60 thousand per year. Exams were conducted online in near centres which were tie-up with Weschool, all the online exams were well managed. Issue resolution service was very quick and timely.
I have visited the campus for few times and found it very enthusiastic. I found the regular students very active and helpful. I saw building decorated for fests and days. The groud is not attached the the college
