Absolutely
Beautiful
where the price is 2,75,000 the food is good in my hostel I would recommend a first year student to stay in a hostel for a year then shift to a flat The college does not have its boys hostel it has three girls hostels of its own they have tie ups with private hostels there are hostel which offer you a room at 90,000 to hostels.
Exams are on time after every trimester and if studied seriously are not difficult to pass. International Business MBA is the need of the hour. Has emerging career prospects. In the course curriculum, the first year covers courses from all domains of marketing, finance, supply chain, operations, and human resources. The faculty is highly qualified and regularly publishes research papers.
The chance for placement begins in the fifth trimester, in addition to the replacement offer. Campus visitors from Microsoft, Dabur, JP Morgan Chase and Company, Goldman Sachs, and DE Shaw. 200 candidates were hired. Microsoft's top domestic package is Rs. 45 Lacs, and the typical is Rs. 21 Lacs. Trade are among the available profiles. I intend to work for a reputable trade company like Cargill, Olam International, or Cofico after receiving my degree.
Most of facilities are good except the Wi-Fi system…Wi-Fi quality is not good.. Class rooms are well maintained and hygienic…if we talk about hostel ,hostel infrastructure is good but food is not good and during may -July it’s too hot so , only fan is nớt enough !
I’m doing btech in computer science .. Here overall academics courses are quite good…Teachers are also well educated….soo many different branches are available…There will be lots of tếch competitions and workshops will be there..
I don’t think so it’s that good..Here maximum package is 20LPA which is offered by only one or two companies and Average is 4 to 8 from many other companies… If we look into thè overall % almost 70 % in our batch got placed …
Per year cost will be approx 90,000 …for me I feel like it can get better …Chances for getting scholarship for SC ,ST ,OBC categories…
Campus life is quite crazy n fun as hell…Lots of college fest, Tech fest will be there…and u will get to know about lots of new people from different countries and different states….
Infrastructure is average. Facilities and equipments are good. Classrooms are provided with conventional boards and smart tvs as well. Laboratories are well equipped with modern equipments. Library is one of the largest you can get.
Academics is outstanding. Professors are highly experienced and actually put in efforts to provide quality education . Curriculum is upgraded every four years and syllabus is reviewed. Curriculum on a large is job based but also including traditional theories
Placements are good. Core placements are still not that much as the trend in most of the college's but overall placement is quite good. Top IT companies provide placements every year and they have almost 100% placement.
Semester fees is less compared to most of the other colleges of same league. Tution fee is around 45k per semester. So value for money is always there getting such quality at really lesser fees is one of the plus points
Campus Life is good. Being a north Indian I was initially worried because of new environment but when I reached there, it was a good mixture of every cultural background and safety is never a concern in Kerala, be it boy or girl. Location is very much in the city and all the facilities are nearby.
Overall experience is very good. If you are looking for a govt college with outstanding academics and value for money then you'll not be disappointed. Moreover if someone is looking for higher studies in foreign, cochin university's degree would certainly be a plus point because of it's accredition and tie ups. All the best choose wisely.
it is good state engineering college . placement is good . placement o cs ,it are good as compared to other branches. if you do not get good nits or iit you can join this . average placement for cs is 5 to 6 lakhs
in this college you will have to study to pass .specially for lab exam but for theory exam two or 3 day is enough . it is easy to get 8 cgpa if u study one week before exam. some faculty are good but you have to study from your own if you want to excel
till now placement for cs ,safety fire ,it is good. but right now safety fire branch is risky in the palcement sense . if you will focus on study you will surely land up in a job . if you are smart and talented enough you will get a good job
Better infrastructure ,have different buildings for different departments and having lab also for each department. But classrooms don't have AC computer labs only have AC . Have a nice library but for first year labs are so far from main building . Don't have good canteen really need better canteen facilities.
My branch of study is Information Technology, and our faculties are good can't say best but good faculties for basic academic knowledge. Faculties are also giving knowledge regarding current status of information technology and knowledge related to that.
Almost all students who have all cleared paper have got placements. Mostly recruitment companies come and give placement , but get help to get placed in good companies by faculties or other sources and also conference are held related to placement.
College infrastructure is not good . Their are no WiFi in college other than library . Labs routines are also not good you can do your lab only once in a week or you can do it in free time when the labs are empty .
Syllabus are little bit out dated their is a need in modifications . Teaching quality is good . Their is one more demerits their is a lots of students involved in political activities due to strikes takes place on regular basis.
Placements are outstanding specially for computer science and information technology students . But placements in safety and fire has decreased in recent years . Infact civil branches are getting placed here.
Yup I think its value for money compared to other private institutions but I think fee structure non keralites must be decreased . But overall its value for money it's provides b tech like course in a 90000 rupees approx and it is affordable by middle classes.
It is situated at great location but due to open campus we all won't leave at same area so I think it might be one reason for lacking in college life . It is safe and yes emergencies are handled brilliantly.
Overall it's good choice for those guys to take admission here who are middle class or lower class because fee structures are less comparetively if you are not getting admission in iit or top level nit.
I will say that the infrastructure if the college is average as expected for a national college to be. The classrooms are following way old tradition of bench after bench rather than having a gallery where visibility is good enough. And smartboards are very far from our expectation, but recently they have installed one for every department(exactly one) and we have to manage with our mobile internet when it comes to our browsing because wifi is something that is not good for the students
I must appreciate the faculty of our college. They explain us things that are fruitful. Although I must point out the fact that the practical applications of those thesis and theories is very rare or actually not at all. We do not have clubs or competitions conducted in our college. We have labs as they are a necessity to the syllabus but truly speaking, neither they are so helpful to us.
Placements are very good. A great amount of companies come to us for hiring us, with a per capita that might suffice a fresh graduate. I must be proud to say we have almost 100% placement every year. The package may go upto 29 lpa, but as far as the average is concerned, it just the touches the mark of 5 lpa which is the least we can get. The faculty helps a lot with the interview process discussing our pros and cons
The semester payment of our college is very much appropriate, neither more nor less, and it is very less as compared to others(especially named private institutes). The bill is almost around Rs. 48,000 per semester including every charges. And the money is worth it
The college campus of CUSAT has plentiful of activities. Even if you are not involved into any activities then you might take a tour of the campus and be mesmerized with the enhanced natural beauty(lots of trees). Sports center is available where we can play several kind of indoor sports including Badminton
The college is good enough for a Undergraduate to pursue his education for graduation. It has all the basic amenities and needs that a college student might require
We have smart boards in every departments and free wifi service at library. The food is very hygienic in the canteen. The living spaces are vert clean and the environment is very comfortable for the students
The curriculam is always regularly updated. The teachers are well qualified and are ready for any clarifications at any time.we have different programs and activities which help students to move forward in acadamics easily
Cusat have very good placements. The students are selected from various companies like amazon, cisco, tcs etc.Generally the placement percentage is high for computer science engineering in btech than compared to other engineering branches
It is a government college, infrastructure is good accordingly. Libraries, gmae rooms, playgrounds, all are well managed and the campus itself is very big. It could take you almost an hour to walk whole of campus.
University has varied courses. It is one of the two university providing Information Technology as a branch of engineering to study. It has marine engineering as well from where students are recruited to Naval Academy.
It is good for placements, the college also has environment for competitive examinations like GATE, CAT, CSE,IBPS, etc. Every year, its placement performance is enhancing as the hustling ability is also increasing. Majority of students here belongs to middle class and struggling backgrounds, that creates a fire which ignites the mind of each and every student.students
Government college fee has never been unaffordable. Reserved categories has unimaginably less amount of fee to pay, hostel fees are also negligible. Other than fee, you may only need to spend 8000/- per month to live there.
The campus life is versatile, it's a place where cultures from every corner of the country meets. Kerala is a beautiful state, you can explore it in holidays and vacations. The campus itself has a lot of activities and fests going round each academic sessions and college gives credits based on your participation.
Overall its a very good college for middle class family students. It is underrated now but is also gaining popularity, soon it will be among top, "genuine" top universities in India. Otherwise, IIIT Hyderabad would now have been ranked lower than some private institute.
Hello Aspirant
A rank of 17440 in CUSAT CAT might not be high enough for the most popular courses or categories. However, it's essential to consider the following factors:
Because you belong to the OEC category, you might have a shot at a decent college, but you need to mention the college that you wish to get admitted to so that we can see their eligibility and admission procedure
Hope this helps
Hello Aspirant
CUSAT CAT is specifically designed for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). While it's not the same as the national-level CAT exam for MBA, the preparation strategy can be similar in many aspects.
Before diving into preparation, it's crucial to understand the exam pattern. CUSAT CAT typically includes sections on:
Strengthen Your Maths:
Cover Physics and Chemistry Basics:
Time Management and Accuracy:
Understand the Exam Pattern:
You should start by analysing the previous year's question papers and seeing what the pattern and make your study plan accordingly.
Hope this helps
