PRIST School of Engineering and Technology was set up in the year 2017 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India for providing constituent college education at Manamai, ECR, Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu. The fact that it is a rather young institution, it is already able to carve its niche in the sphere of engineering education. Recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), PRIST has developed various B.Tech specialist programmes to cope with the current market trends. The college has 73 dedicated professionals in its faculty which helps the institution to maintain a healthy student teacher ratio and give required individual attention to every learner.

PRIST School of Engineering and Technology has a spanking younger campus replete with all the mod-cons any learning institution would need. The college library has all sorts of books and practically ensures a good learning environment, They use an ERP package for the administrative purpose. The institution also has equipped laboratories for each department so that students should practice on even real-state equipment before they are posted out in various organizations within the country. Apart from academia, PRIST provide facilities such as, gym, sport facilities, cafeteria, and a health center with first aid facilities. Finally, the campus is wireless-fitted to cater for the needs of the information age. Regarding the services, the college offers transport for students and expects and expects them to have ATMs and a convenience store within the compound.

There are six full-time B.Tech programmes at PRIST School of Engineering and Technology and all the programmes last for four years. These programmes include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering ,Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and the newly added Artificial intelligence and data science. The college conducts these five courses where every course has an intake capacity of 60 students except the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science where the intake capacity is yet to be released. The flexibility in these programme’s enable the students to select a programme of study that is related to their preferred discipline.

As for admission PRIST School of Engineering and Technology has quite simple and easy admission process aimed to provide the comfort to students. It is not clear what specific aspects are taken into consideration for admissions, although most engineering colleges use the candidate’s performance in academic exams passed 10+2 or equivalent with stress on Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Some institutions also use results of the national or state level entrance tests into account as well.
