About Priyadarshini Dnyan Prabodhini's Law College, Phaltan

Priyadarshini Dnyan Prabodhini's Law College is a constituent of Shivaji University situated at Phaltan, Maharashtra. The law college started in 1991 has emerged as a premier legal academic institution of the country. This college sits in a tiny campus area of 1.2 acres, and the institution is recognised and approved by the Bar Council of India. Here, the total number of students and faculty strength is 163 and 13, respectively.

The college disposes of the range of facilities that augment the academic as well as personal development of its students. A well-equipped library has acquired more than 3,477 books, apart from 72 reference books, along with a reading room that can accommodate 50 students. For a technology-based institution, there should be a computer lab where internet access is provided to enhance research and academic purposes. For law students, there is the moot court hall, which provides a realistic setting for a courtroom where students sharpen their advocacy skills.

There are two courses conducted at Priyadarshini Dnyan Prabodhini's Law College. These include the LLB of 3 years with which an individual can opt for a profession in law after completion of the course from any discipline they have passed graduation in, and the 5-year integrated BA LLB aimed directly after 12th standard studies. Both courses have an admission intake sanctioned for 60 students per course. Combining the two totals their aggregate seats to 120.
