Priyadarshini Institute of Technology, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, began in the year 2008 as an affiliated college. Co-educational in nature, it is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. This institute offers different programmes in engineering. PDIT is spread over a vast area over a 22-acre campus with a total intake of 168 students across its different courses. The courses that the institute offers number six in all: five at the B.Tech level and one at the Diploma level. All programmes belong to different disciplines of engineering. Quite serious about its mission of imparting quality education, PDIT lays emphasis on technical education and practical experience that is gained by the students in the learning process.
The institute has a number of facilities which make the learning process of students more worthy. The central library is well-equipped with books, journals, magazines, and newspapers; on-campus access to thousands of e-journals and e-books is facilitated within the campus. PDIT provides full-fledged sports facilities, encouraging students to maintain a healthy balance between academics and sports activities. It has departmental laboratories essential for hands-on experience in engineering education. Generally, the physical infrastructure on the IT front is very advanced to ensure that the young minds get the latest exposure. There are separate boys' and girls' hostels to ensure that the students coming from various regions stay on with comfort. Other major facilities provided on the campus include auditorium for holding events and seminars, cafeteria, and health care including a first-aid facility. The institute extends the facility of transport towards its students and staff members for easy commutation.
Priyadarshini Institute of Technology offers six full-time courses, out of which five are under the stream B.Tech: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. It contains one Diploma course: Electronics and Communication Engineering.

College doesn’t have all necessary infrastructure and facilities. The equipments have to be updated. The classes are quite good enough. We have very good library but it has to update with digital library. Infrastructure have to be improved.
