Prof. S. Karn Women Teacher Education College is situated at Jhunjhunu of Rajasthan and it is focused college for women students in the field of teacher education. This affiliated college was set up in the year 2015 and has managed to carve out for itself a place in the region. The institute is located in the Amritsar city and occupies only 1.34 acre of area and is exclusively for girls as it focuses to provide teaching faculties. Currently the college has 261 students and a teaching staff of 28, thus the college provides a small teaching ratio. It is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education of India keeping in view the standards for teacher education in the country.

Like any other college, Prof. S. Karn Women Teacher Education College has several facilities which will help improve the college experience of its students. A library with adequate capacity as a cornerstone reference centre is stocked with up to 5000 books, periodicals, and other audio-visual products. The reading room is well suited for studying or carrieout research work. In the practical aspect, the institute has functional laboratories in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to enable the students to practice what is learned in class. A Computer lab assists students to grow the basic IT skills they will be required in the future enhancement of education. It also provides preventive health care as it has sport stadium and a health center with first aid treatment. Hostel facilities are available for those women students who want to live separately & for men students there may be hostels for the programmes related to this college or on some special consideration as this college main target is for women only.

The institute provides three full-time programmes. Such certification programmes include B.Ed, B.A B.Ed Integrated, and B.sc B.Ed Integrated. These courses are intended to give students very firm base in teaching at various levels depending on their background and training goals within the teaching profession.

For the specific programme, B.El.Ed entrance exam is given and admission is made according to the merit of marks score in qualifying examination.
