The college prides of several infrastructures aimed at catering for the needs of the students both in and out of class. A modern well stocked library as a resource center and separate departmental laboratory for practicals. Besides, the college has an auditorium for various events and seminars thus resulting to an active college community life. For out of town students the school provides a girls’ hostel, the school has the capacity to accommodate fifty-five girls for safety and comfort. This hostel occupies an area of 573sqmeters for mainly accommodating the students of Providence D.Ed. College and Providence School but other needy students may be accommodated as and when required. Other infrastructural facilities including sporting activities and first rate Information Technology complement learning activities hence putting the students in good stead in the new age learning environment.

Providence Junior College of Education offers a focused curriculum with one main course: the D.El.Ed program. This programme is a two-year full-time diploma course and it was approved to take 40 students per year. The aim of the program is to prepare future educators through acquisition of knowledge and teaching competencies in transitions to primary school teaching. As much as the college offers a single course in special education, it remains committed to offering quality education by providing a complete guide to teacher training.
