PS Muthu College of Arts and Science is affiliated college situated at Sukkangalpatty, Theni district of Tamilnadu state which was started in 2011. The institution is located in a 10 acre plot and has 22 offering courses which fall under 13 degree programmes. There are 258 students including faculty members and the college has 17 faculty members Out of this the college is educating 258 blessed students. The education standards of present PS Muthu College are approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institution provides many options of focus areas available, such as Physical Education, Mathematics, Hotel Management, Commerce, English, Social Work, Aviation Management, Computer Science, Yoga and others to meet students’ academic preferences.

These are:; Hostel facility for boys and girls these are provided and adequately accommodate out station students. PS Muthu College of Arts and Science provides a variety of courses in various disciplines. It offers 22 programmes which include undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. These include full time programme in arts science commerce and management streams. The type of bachelor’s degree that it currently awards include B.Sc in Physical Education, Mathematics, Hotel Management and Computer Science; B.Com and B.Com in Computer Applications; BA in English and Yoga; BSW and BBA in Aviation Management. At the postgraduate level, this college provides M.Sc Computer Science, M.Com Computer Applications, MA (English & Yoga), Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications, and Master of Social Work. Also, the institution offers Master of Philosophy in Computer Science, commerce, and English. The college also provides the Diploma in Yoga course and D.P.Edprogramme with an approved strength of intake only 50.
