PSIT Polytechnic, Kanpur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

PSIT Polytechnic, Kanpur was established in 2017 and is a rather new technical institution located on the Kanpur–Agra–Delhi National Highway-2, Bhauti, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Being a co-educational institute and an affiliated college, it got approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi, for diploma courses in different branches of engineering and technology. Although not specifically ranked, PSIT Polytechnic is committed to providing quality technical education to aspiring engineers. 

PSIT Polytechnic has many facilities to help students in their academics and other daily activities. The college library acts as a learning and knowledge center by facilitating students to access technical literature and other resources. Departmental laboratories provide a practical learning environment where students can implement theoretical aspects in the laboratories. Also available in the college campus is an auditorium that plays a very important role in conducting seminars, events, and cultural activities in the college campus. This helps offer a lively atmosphere to the campus life of the students. 

PSIT Polytechnic, Kanpur is offering four diploma programmes with 60 students intake in each programme. The four programmes include Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Engineering. In all, the intake of students for all courses sums up to 240, meaning the institute strongly emphasizes the fact that to effective learning, classes have to be small. Although the statistics showing the total number of graduates are not mentioned, the institute remains focused on turning out competent technicians and engineers ready for service in the industry.

The admission procedure at PSIT Polytechnic, Kanpur is quite simple and easily available to any aspiring student from their respective places. Institute probably considers academic performance in relevant subjects. Institute may conduct its own Entrance Examination or may accept scores of State Level Polytechnic Entrance Examination.
