I got 63% in boards and 94 percentile in jee main paper 2, can I get admission in good colleges for b.arch?

You have a great percentile, but the boards percentage falls below the distinction of 75%, which will be problematic, as most of the reputed architecture colleges in India consider the board percentage too. But still, you will definitely get a good collage owing to the JEE paper 2 percentile.

Hey!

For qualifying Orissa and Wb Government College, you need to follow :-

10+2 or equivalent with minimum 50% marks along with the compulsory subject of mathematics.

10th + 3 year’s diploma in any stream from a recognized university/ board/ institution.

Cleared NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) with the 80% marks conducted by Council of Architecture

Sir my rank in jee main paper 2 is 10000 eventhough i have got 96.1% so is there any chance of getting into nits??

Congratulations on getting such a good rank. I believe this rank can get you into NIT's and IIIT's of some lower ranking. It's not possible to get high ranking NIT's because they close at about 6000 rank. But you should register yourself for JOSAA counselling and take part till the next round. Maybe you'll get one of the good ranking NIT's. All the best!

Hey Jyothi, hope you are doing well. See according to previous year's trends and cutoffs, you might get medium to lower ranked NITS for sure. For top NITS you might have to go through various rounds to get a seat. Nevertheless please wait for cutoffs to be out. Hope it helps!! Good luck!!

Hello,

You can get admission in JJ college of engineering through any exam whether jee mains paper 2 or NATA.

So it’s not necessary to give NATA for getting admission.

Also your 12th percentage is also taken into consideration for admission process.

You can check previous years cutoff to know whether you are applicable for this college or not.

Sir i got 53160 AIRin jee main paper 2 and 1370 is all india st cetagery rank. So will i get seat in any NITs/IIITs.

You have not mentioned your home state. But, With a category rank of around 1,300 it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the NIT's or IIIT's when comparing the results of previous years. But, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats and state quotas. I didn't qualify for her advanced through jee mains paper 1 ,but I got 93 percentile in jee main paper 2, will I be eligible to give AAT ??

For applying in AAT, you need to qualify in mains paper 1 and then clear jee advanced. If you clear advanced then only you are eligible for applying in AAT. This is a general rule applicable in all IITs for AAT. Though you can try for NITs using you JEE main paper 2 score. For further doubts, you can read the AAT guidelines.

Can I get admission through JEE main paper 2

Colleges such as NITs facilitate admission on the basis of JEE Mains Paper-2 scores. IIT-Roorkee and IIT- Kharagpur are the only two B Arch colleges that offer admission to the students based on the qualifying exam Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) along with IITJEE exam scores.
